1Scope of these terms

These terms apply to your use of carelianlog.co.uk. They do not, by themselves, create a contract for a building, design, supply, installation, maintenance, or other project service. Browsing this site or sending an enquiry does not amount to accepting bespoke project terms.

You may use this site for lawful, personal, or business-enquiry purposes. You must not:

4Project agreements

If we agree to provide project work, the written quotation, order, contract, and any agreed variations govern that work. Those documents should identify the scope, price, payment arrangements, programme, specifications, responsibilities, warranties, cancellation position, and any process for notices or disputes.

A project contract is formed only in the manner stated in the applicable written documents. This website does not set a standard deposit, instalment schedule, warranty period, liability cap, or allocation of planning and building-regulations responsibility.

5Consumer rights and cancellation

If you deal with us as a consumer, rights provided by law continue to apply. Whether a cancellation right applies, its duration, and the consequences of starting services or making bespoke goods depend on the type of transaction and the circumstances. The relevant written project documents will provide the information applicable to that engagement.

Nothing in these website terms is intended to exclude or limit a right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

6Intellectual property

The site's text, graphics, photographs, layout, branding, and other content are owned by or used with the permission of Carelian Log Buildings Ltd or the relevant rights holder. You may view and share a link to the site for legitimate enquiry purposes, but you must not copy, republish, or commercially exploit material without permission.

Rights in project drawings, designs, and deliverables are determined by the written project agreement, not by this page.

7Third-party services and links

This site can link to third-party services. Recent updates from our own Facebook Page may also be displayed as first-party copies synchronised by our server. We do not reproduce Facebook's interactive controls, and simply viewing those copies does not open Facebook. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss arising from reliance on general website information where a site-specific written agreement or professional advice is required. Project-related liability is addressed in the applicable project agreement.
